Breaking: AT&T Stores Forced Customers to Buy Accessories With iPhone

We’ve got three separate accounts of people reporting that AT&T is forcing them to buy accessories along with their iPhone at three different AT&T stores. This was definitely not the case at Apple stores, and for several AT&T stores to decide this on their own to cash in on the launch is pretty damn shady.

Is Parallels violating the Wine GPL?

Parallels Desktop for Mac contains Wine’s Direct3D code according to http://www.parallels.com/en/licensing/. So far(June 29th, 2007) attempts to ask them for the modified source code failed.

Woman tries to buy all of the iPhones at a store and gets owned.

This woman brought $16,000 to try and buy all of the iPhones at a store in Dallas to sell them on eBay. She pays a guy $800 for his first spot in line. Once the AT&T store opens, she is told there is a limit to how many she can get! The guy walks away with free iPhone.

Apple co-founder Steve ‘Woz’ Wozniak arrived at San Jose’s Valley Fair Apple Store before 3:30 a.m. this morning to be the first in line to purchase iPhones. Woz was reportedly promised an iPhone by Steve Jobs on Saturday, but is waiting in line anyway to purchase more devices for his children and to experience the iPhone launch…
